The Purpose (objectives of the Catholic Men's Club include:
a. To promote fellowship and spiritual welfare among men within the parish in accordance with the practices of the Catholic Church. This includes promotion faithful attendance at Mass, communion and club meetings.
b. To increase a sense of Christian stewardship exemplified through projects within the parish, with other parishes, and within the community. This includes promotion of active involvement in church activities and committee activities
c. To assist our pastor with his parish and community responsibilities
d. To provide opportunities for amiable social relations among the members of the club, their families, friends, and members of the parish.
E. To financially help worthy causes and organizations in our church and community.
The Men’s Club sponsors events such:
1. Monthly or weekly Donut and Coffee Social - The Men’s Club organizes this social event which could take place in the School auditorium or in the main lobby of the church after Sunday morning Masses. *Other parish groups and individuals may help sponsor a particular month or week and help serve after Masses.
2. Parish picnics offering fun family days of rides, games, music, and food. Many volunteers are usually needed to make the day run smoothly.
3. Father-Son and Father-Daughter Sunday Breakfasts
; St. Patrick’s Day Party; Halloween Dance;
Poker Nights
4. In addition, the Men’s Club assists the Women’s Club, the Hospitality Ministry, the Stewardship and Fundraising Committee in the preparation of different activities in the church.
Men’s Club Fundraising Activities could include but are not limited to:
The Men's Club meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday of the month @ 2PM. During the meeting the members could eat a dinner prepared by a men's club member and socialize the rest of the evening.
