The Purpose (objectives) of the Catholic Women's Club include:
a. Promoting fellowship and spiritual welfare among women within the parish in accordance with the practices of the Catholic Church. This includes promotion of faithful attendance at Mass, communion, club and prayer meetings, spiritual exercises and work of charity.
b. Increasing a sense of Christian stewardship by encouraging all women in the parish to cooperate in common projects for the benefit of the parish and community. This includes active involvement in community building activities and other projects.
c. Assisting the pastor with his parish and community responsibilities
d. Providing opportunities for amiable social relations among the members of the club, their families, friends, and members of the parish.
E. Helping to raise funds for worthy causes and organizations in the church and community.
The Women’s Club duties include:
1. Hosting of luncheons and other church receptions
2. Undertaking church cleaning and helping in other areas as needed
3. Organizing parish picnics.
4. In addition, the Women’s Club assists the Men’s Club, the Hospitality Ministry, the Stewardship and Fundraising Committee in the preparation of different activities in the church.
Women’s Club Fundraising Activities could include but are not limited to:
The Women's Club meets monthly on the 2nd Sunday of the month. During the meeting the members could eat a dinner prepared by a Women's Club member and socialize the rest of the evening.
